Why stay in Wilderness?
Wilderness is situated centrally in the Garden Route and Little Karoo, and therefore it’s an ideal starting point for exploring different touristic sites in the area. Go and see the ostrich farms in Oudtshoorn, the Dias Museum in Mossel Bay, the waterfront in Knysna or the beautiful beach of,Plettenberg Bay. These are all within easy reach as a daytrip.

You may also wish to do any of the out door activities in the area like ocean swimming, hiking, canoeing and horse riding or choose to relax at the beach. Wilderness is also known for whale and dolphin spotting and a favourite destination for paragliding fans.

Birdwatchers and nature-lovers paradise
Wilderness is the only village in South Africa that, together with the lakes, surrounding forests and 28 kilometers of coastline, is protected within a 2612-hectares National Park. There are more then a 150 different species of birds in this area, so go for a hike and explore the unique flora and fauna of this magnificent area!

Directions to Inn2Wilderness
From George, take the N2 EAST towards Port Elizabeth. At the Protea Hotel and Caltex Garage, turn right and then left off the circle into 8th Avenue. Follow the signboards to Inn2Wilderness a few hundred metres further on the left.
